Nicking seeds will improve germination.

Temperature : 15 - 20° C

Allow plants to have a cold treatment of 8 to 10 days at 10° C before transplanting out to induce earlier bud formation.

Enrich the soil with manure or compost before planting side dress with a balanced fertilizer at the time of bud set.
